On Saturday, July 12th, Movement Rhizome, in collaboration with Good Life X, successfully concluded the one-day workshop for The Routes We Take – Kandy Regional Exhibition at Alliance Française, Kandy.
Facilitated by the esteemed Dr. Sunil Wijesiriwardana and Prof. Sudesh Mantillake, the workshop offered an immersive space to explore the relationship between art, ecology, and regional identity. Participants from diverse creative disciplines came together to reflect, move, discuss, and co-create—laying the foundation for what promises to be a deeply resonant exhibition.
This workshop was not only a preparatory session—it was a moment of shared inquiry into how artistic practice can respond to nature, place, and socio-cultural urgencies. The insights, energies, and creative sparks generated throughout the day are now moving forward toward the public exhibition on July 25–26, 2025, at the Karaliya Convention Centre, Kandy.
